The Only Cam Belt Drive on the market for traditional Pontiac V-8s! Found on the fastest Pontiacs in the country! Available for both factory and aftermarket blocks in both standard deck (crank to cam 5.192") and raised cam blocks including tall decks.

Motor Plate for BOP Pontiac Belt Drive
Standard Deck Belt Drive Motor Plate is fully machined from 6061 Alunminum to accomodate the BOP belt drive. Lower seal is already pressed in place. Plate is 35 x 16 x 5/16 inches. (crank to cam 5.192") Included in BDE06 Gen IV belt drive kits.

Upgrade Kit to Gen IV BOP Pontiac Belt Drive
The Gen II / Gen III to Gen IV belt drive upgrade kit utilizes a new cam hub machined from 7075 Aircraft Aluminum with additional material support around the keyway for greater strength and durability. Also included is the Gen III & Gen IV cam thrust plate that houses front and rear needle thrust bearings to control thrust in both directions. In addition the thrust bearings are larger diameter to accommodate 55mm cam bores while still working with stock size cam bores. The upgrade consists of the complete cam thrust plate assembly, Gen IV cam hub and BBW11 cam bolt. Upgraded parts are already included in new Gen IV belt drive kits.

Cam Hub for Gen IV BOP Pontiac Belt Drive
Replacement Gen IV belt drive cam hub is machined from 7075 aircraft aluminum with additional material support around the keyway and is finished with hard coat anodizing for greater strength and durability. Works with Gen III and Gen IV belt drives. This cam hub along with the BBW11 cam hub bolt and washer effectively upgrades a Gen III belt drive to Gen IV.Note: Gen II cam thrust plate needs ID opened .080 to accomodate Gen IV cam hub.

Cam Bolt and Washer Gen III & IV BOP Pontiac Belt Drive
This belt drive cam hub bolt and washer replaces all previous versions of this part and works will all belt drives. Bolt is 12 pt Grade 8 and washer is hardened with locating step and black oxide coating. This bolt and washer along with the BCH09 cam hub upgrades a Gen III belt drive to Gen IV. Notes: Gen II cam thrust plate needs ID opened .080 to accomodate Gen IV cam hub. Also if using front distributor drive hub back of hub must be recessed to clear bolt head.

Gen II / Gen III to Gen IV replacement timing belt (25.4 mm). These belts are made specifically for the BOP belt drive and use HSN (highly saturated Nitrile) technology. Do not use an off the shelf belt as it will not withstand the back bend of the idler and will fail destroying your valvetrain.

Idler shell creates the proper tention on the belt drive belt. Standard idler shell is based on the standard 5.192 inch cam to crank centerline. If your block has been align bored this dimension may be shorter. Custom Idler shells are available to correct this issue. When ordering a custom shell please provide your cam to crank center to center measurement.
