The BOP Engineering Viton® One-piece rear mail seal is the most advanced rear main seal on the market for the traditional Olds V-8. This revolutionary design features a number of state of the art innovations including relocation of the parting line which greatly reducing the risk of leaking, a more pliable construction that will work more effectively in engines with seal groove geometry issues, State of the art lip design provides protection against leakage as well as supporting outstanding vacuum numbers. Crankshaft must be out of the block to fit this seal prior to installation. Fits Olds 400, 425, 455 CID & 350 Diesel.

The BOP Pontiac steel core Neoprene (rubber) valve cover gaskets are the ultimate in sealing and reusability. The steel core maintains the shape of the gasket in-plane for improved sealing especially in vacuum pump applications. Gaskets will not get sucked into the valve train area or push out. At 3/16 inches thickness (.187") they also aid in clearance issues with roller valve trains, especially when doubled up.

Multiple mounting locations including both sides of the engine provide extreme flexibility to locate your alternator where you need it. Alternator drive pulley location can be accommodated by simply trimming spacers, a real plus when using aftermarket balancers. Bracket design will fit most factory Oldsmobile V-8 heads as well as most aftermarket head designs. Mounting ring is silver stainless steel and spacers are silver anodized for maximum durability.
